Each Day Offers The Ability To Understand The World
The news of the world each day has relevance. (Though we don’t need 24 hour news.) But what often goes without sufficient thought is the meaning of the things that are around us all the time.
We can interpret the world and come up with a coherent worldview by looking at everyday lives we lead, and by considering the course of our relationships and the lives of the people we know.
There is a lot to be learned by just looking around at the physical world and the infrastructure we build to support our lives.
History, day-to-day news, our own lives, and the lives of others can be woven together to see the world in a way that is both wide and precise.
We all have the ability to make sense of what is taking place around us, and to be a relevant part of the world around us.

I define liberalism as a role for government in the economy to help make life more fair, and a broad acceptance of people regardless of who they are.
This is why it says “All People Matter” at the top of the blog.
