I’m Certain I’ll Blog Again About Local Affairs In Houston And Texas Soon Enough

I could blog about local affairs here in Houston and in Texas on the blog today.  I imagine I will offer such blogging soon enough.

It is just that our leaders—and many of our fellow everyday citizens as well—are thieves who steal our time and our best energies with an endless load of idiocy, self-centeredness, and anything else that is annoying and a waste of time.

And so I’m just going to leave all that stuff alone for today.

  1. I see you too Neil are getting worn out by the barrage of lunacy that is in full swing to undermine Obama’s 2012 campaign. The statements of the right wing nut jobs know no limits in their use of deceptions and distortions to paint the worst picture they can about the President. I have some criticisms of the man too but they’re based on reality and a few facts. The GOP/TeaParty fringe element has no shame in loading the airwaves, the blogosphere and letters to the editor with their insanity, hoping I’m sure to sway a few uninformed voters.

You might as well debate a brick wall.

  2. I look sometimes for things I can say that are not being said by others. I want to make good use of my time. Sometimes I am successful. Other times I am not.

The Tea Party folks are such a waste of time. Yet they can’t be ignored.

It is not so much that they wear me out–though they are tiresome—it is just there is so much more to life.

I just try to take the bottom line that it is our own efforts that matter most.
