Popular Krohn Conservatory Closed On Mondays—Who Needs Any Good Cheer On A Monday?

Want to see all the exotic plants at Cincinnati’s popular Krohn Conservatory? Looking for a few minutes out of the cold in the dark of winter by visiting the Krohn?

You’d better hope it is not Monday.

Who needs a morale boost on a Monday? Folks spend all weekend looking forward to Monday.

It is limited resources for all except when it comes to corporate profits.

People need to decide what kind of future they want to have in this nation.

If you don’t get involved and fight back, the things we all count on from government will go away, and your future will have no value but the profit you can make for others.

  1. Perhaps the parks department could charge a small admission fee, allowing the more-popular days to carry the less-popular ones. It would also give the city some feedback on how much its citizens value that institution.

That HuffPo story made some really strange claims, like saying that moving white-collar jobs overseas directly increases sales. Goodman then claims that this increase in sales depresses consumer spending, which is sort of like claiming that rain causes droughts.

I think you underestimate the value of the profit motive, Neil. It provides valuable incentives that induce people to help each other by pursuing their self-interest. A wheat farmer in Kansas doesn’t give a damn about you or me, but his pursuit of profit puts bread on all three of our tables.
