Once the wave subsides, we’ll still hold the White House and the Senate.

We also have the governorship’s of California, New York & Illinois.

We just have to get past today and proceed.

Let’s show our best side in the next few days, and let’s move ahead in the weeks and months to come.

Analysis Of 2010 Election In Harris County, Texas & For All Of Texas

It’s a brutal 2010 election for Democrats in Harris County, Texas and in all of Texas.

(Above—Galveston in 1900.)

My analysis is that if Galveston could rebuild after the 1900 Hurricane, then Democrats and progressives can rebuild after tonight.

The 1900 Galveston hurricane killed 6,000 people. It  was the worst natural disaster in terms of loss of life in American history.

Today, however, Galveston is still around.

Let’s stay the course and be hopeful about what is to come.

We can do this while staying tough, and while still hitting back about lies and bad public policy.
