Unlike Sleazy John Edwards, If I Ever Have A Midlife Crisis I’m Going To Read A Long Book

Sleazy John Edwards has admitted he is the subject of a federal probe of his 2008 Presidential campaign. It’s possible that he misused campaign funds to pay off the woman he was having an adulterous affair with while his wife suffers from cancer.

I’m 41 and have been married nine years. If I ever feel I’m having some type of midlife crisis, I’m going to read a long book. That will be how I let go and feel young again.

The longest book I’ve read is the one you see below  The Power Broker by Robert Caro. It is 1344 pages. I read it when I was in my 20’s. If you ever see me reading an even longer book, maybe I am having a midlife crisis and i’m doing something to make me feel young again.

Fudgsicle Triple Chocolate 18 Pack Has Poor And Unhelpful Packaging

The Fudgsicle Triple Chocolate 18 pack has poor and unhelpful packaging.

 This item, that I bought with my hard-earned money, has three flavors.

These three flavors are—

1. Milk Chocolate

2. Dark Chocolate

3. White Chocolate

The problem is that the individual packages within the box are not labeled. You can tell, if you have enough light, which is the white chocolate. But there is no way to tell which is the milk chocolate and which is the white chocolate. 

I was asked by someone close to me to for a milk chocolate Fudgsicle , but what I gave this person was the dark chocolate flavor. I could not figure out which one was the milk chocolate. 

The Fudgsicle brand is owned by the consumer giant Unilever. You’d think they could work this out.

You can click here to see a picture of the item I am talking about. They spend plenty of money for the external packaging, but then don’t make the product easy to use once I take it home. 

I’m forwarding this blog post to the Fudgsicle/Unilever company and we will see what kind of response I get.  

I feel that a week in Venice would be a fair payment for the trouble this issues has caused in my life.

1569 Views A Day For 2009 And 600,000 Total—Thank You Blog Reading Public

For 2009, I set a goal of 1500 page views a day for Texas Liberal. In 2008, I had 912 a day.

So far for 2009, I’m averaging 1569 page views a day.

Also, yesterday Texas Liberal went over 600,000 total page views.
