Seven Swine Flu Poems

Here are seven Swine Flu poems–

1.

Does your child cover her mouth when she coughs/Or is she a reflection of you/Because of the poor example you’ve set/Your kids are spreading the Swine Flu

2.

You’ve enjoyed those pork chops/And that pork rib B-B-Q/But now the table has been turned/And pigs are killing you

3.

Some are mad at Mexico/Because that is where the Swine Flu began/But when disease our ancestors brought killed Native Americans/We happily took their land

4.

Here is a problem/For all you creationists to solve/ If evolution is not true/How is it that viruses evolve

5.

Texas Governor Perry said/ Maybe Texas should secede/Then he called up Washington/And said send the flu medicine we need

6.

People die in poverty and disease/All around the world each day/But we never hear the end of it/When people in wealthy nations get sick in some novel way

7.

Between the global flu outbreak /And the global economic disaster/ Who can make a prediction/Of what will do us in faster

  2. You wrote all that yourself? That’s pretty good. I blogged about swine flu, too. Sis tells me the kids at school are being mean and theya are also avoiding talking to hispanic kids.

  3. “Some are mad at Mexico/Because that is where the Swine Flu began/But when disease our ancestors brought killed Native Americans/We happily took their land”

…and created medicines and hospitals that virtually wiped out terrible diseases all over the world and in most countries. This flu virus actually came from Asia and grew in Mexico due to unsanitary conditions that are common there.

“Texas Governor Perry said/ Maybe Texas should secede/Then he called up Washington/And said send the flu medicine we need..”

In exchange for being treated for free at the Texas Medical Center.

  4. Joe–Terrible diseases are still over the world while we research more Viagara type drugs.

As for use of the medical center, it’s a small payback for all the cheap labor they give us.

  6. Interesting stuff. Did you hear that there’s a new strain which is resistant to the anti-flu drugs? Tamiflu etc? Found a really good website for tracking it’s progress, seems to be updated every hour or so… http://www.swinefludeaths.co.uk.

  7. Kindly go through my poem on swine flu…..

    Poem on swine flu

I feel pleasure to introduce my lovely doll,
    Beautiful, slim, attractive and tall,
Last week god knows what happened to her,
She developed cold, cough and high fever,
Couldn’t sleep well coz of running nose,
She was looking like a pale rose,
She suffered a lot from body ache,
    Sore throat and severe headache,
Oh! That persistent diarrhea and vomiting,
Complaints for tiredness & troubled breathing.
She turned out to be restless with skin -blue,
Doctor diagnosed her illness as swine flu.
Every one said it is a disease of death,
But doctor said, “You need to have faith”.
He asked me to comfort her with rest,
I applied wicks on her chest.
She covered her mouth using mask with bands,
And used sanitizer to wash her hands.
Medicines she took in proper dose,
All these made her again bloom like a rose.
Now my doll is in pink of health,
Enjoying her time with her friends.
Well, no one wants to suffer like my doll,
So, let’s follow precautions for all,
And pray to God to keep us alright,
    Happy, healthy, cheerful and bright.
    Happy, healthy, cheerful and bright.
