Photo Of Interesting Building In Galveston, Texas

Here is a picture I took two weeks ago of an interesting building in Galveston, Texas.

You should come and spend a day in Galveston.

You’ll be glad you did.

  1. Galveston, Texas, huh? I’ve never been to Texas. I can’t make promises that I’ll go sometime soon but someday I’ll make it out. I like the building. It looks like a mix between the brick building of the east coast and the victorian building of SF. Is this like a historic district or something?

  2. The building is near the Strand which has long been the commercial center of Galveston. Many building on the Strand have survived the 1900 and 1915 hurricanes. I don’t know the details of the building in the picture. maybe I’ll try to figure it out next time I drive down. Galveston is 50 miles south of Houston.
