  1. Did you know a turkey can reproduce asexually?

    If there isn’t a male turkey about (males are called ‘toms’ and not ‘cocks) a female turkey can inseminate herself (although the result is normally a weak and sickly looking bird.)

  3. Perhaps it is only the season for taking a walk in the snow, not a season for insemination by either a partner of self.
