I Would Like To Live In This Houseboat

I would like to live in this houseboat.

Update 6/8/09— I made this post almost 18 months ago on a Friday afternoon because I needed to put something up on the blog and I did not have much time. For the last few months this post has been getting between 5 and 20 hits a day. I  can’t figure out why. I enjoy the pitcure, but I doubt anybody plans to live on a boat such as the one seen above. Might someone who has come to post please tell me what they were looking for and how it is they found this blog? Also, since you are here , please consider looking around the rest of the blog. I try hard to make this a good blog.

Here is a link to a more fancy version of the boat you see above.

  4. I’m with citizenx. And, the first thing I thought of when I saw the photo – albeit not the same kind of boat – was “Apocalypse Now”.

  9. I was wondering why people like to live on a house boat?

  10. i would like to win the lotter too! i dont think anyone really wants to live on this boat as much as the idea is romantic and simplistic. No one wants to live in a shanty boat on a shanty river.

  11. I found the photo on a Google image search of ‘houseboats’ because I’m interested in houseboats. This one is particularly graceful and exotic looking. I’m going now to noodle through your blog, per your request. Cheers!

  13. I was just looking up pictures of houseboats on google images… I was thinking, what if you take a houseboat, and attach a hot air balloon on top? House dirigible? Air House? Would be awesome.

  14. Axenzoku—That might be a very good idea for a future blog post. You never know what’s out there. Thank you.

  15. Hi there! You asked why your boat clip is getting so much attention. Well, I can’t speak for others, but I’m a hermit hunting for hermitage options. I don’t know anything about boats, but I had a crazy thought recently that I could build a peddle houseboat, so now I’m here… I’m sure there’s a reason why it probably hasn’t been done! I’ll find out one way or another! The little boat shown there is a pretty clever design though.~Blessings
