I’ve Got Both An Obama Sticker And A Green Party Jill Stein Sticker On My Car

I’ve got both an Obama sticker and a Jill Stein Green Party sticker on my car.

You might say that this could confuse people, but many people seem plenty confused regardless of my actions.

The Obama sticker is there in part to annoy mean-spirited folks.

The Stein sticker gives me some hope that things can really be better.

At core the work of freedom and a good society is up to each of us.

Context, a good society, and dumb luck matters—But the work of freedom and a good society  is up to each of us.

  1. Can you clarify your statement on mean-spirited folks? Do you consider anyone who is annoyed with Obama as mean-spirited?

  2. Nope—I do not consider all such people to be mean-spirited.

  3. It seemed like a biased statement so thanks for the clarification. If you truly support Jill Stein, you should remove the Obama sticker. It would be great if we allowed her a national presence to hear her plans for America’s future, but the race is between Obama and Romney. One of those men are going to be our next president and we should support the one that has the best plan for our future.

  4. Eugene Debs once said, “It’s better to vote for what you want and not get it than to vote for what you don’t want and get it.”

I feel the same way when it comes to supporting Presidential candidates this year. Those two bumper stickers are for two different audiences.

  5. Hopefully some progress is possible even in this depressing election cycle. Ms. Stein has been working hard to make the case for a better future.
