Gene Locke Has Campaign Signs In Illegal Places & Consorts With Gay Bashers
Houston Mayoral candidate Gene Locke puts his campaign signs everywhere.
Above are some that have popped up like mushrooms.
( Here is a link to a U. of Illinois horticulturist writing about how the limit the spread of mushrooms on your lawn. Gene Locke could stop of the spread of his signs by simply being a good citizen of our community.)
The signs in the picture may well be legally-placed. However ,the Locke campaign has signs on highway overpasses all over the city.
I saw such signs last week on 45 South headed to Galveston.
I saw them again today on 45 North headed to the airport.
I wish I had a picture of the highway signs, but it did not seem a good idea to take pictures while driving on the highway.
Though if you have been on our highways in Houston, maybe you have seen these signs.
Such signs are illegal and will cost taxpayer dollars to remove.
It is not just that Mr. Locke has campaign signs where they should not be, it is also that he consorts with gay bashers.
Mr. Locke very much wants the support of local gay-bashers.
Is there anything decent and hopeful about the Locke campaign?
If there is, Mr. Locke has kept it well-hidden.
If only he would keep his campaign signs well-hidden.

Gene Locke has the endorsement of HAR (Houston Association of Realtors) and many people who own property around Houston. They have granted permission to post Locke for Mayor signs on their properties throughout town.
If there are any signs on public property, they are probably posted by very passionate supporters who want to raise awareness for Gene Locke.
Gene Locke has also consistently denounced those attacks against Annise Parker. If she had a problem with the “local gay-bashers,” she should have raised that issue with them when she spoke to the Pachyderm group asking for their endorsement. She wants the conservative support just as much, but is willing to sling mud at them if they support anyone else besides her.
JH—Annise Parker has been shameless in seeking the support of Republicans. I’ve written about that on this blog more than once. Your point on this matter is solid.
As for the signs, while the ones shown above may be legally placed, I find it doubtful that the Locke campaign has no connection to the large signs that have been placed on our local highways.

This is a legal sign put up by the owner of the property, Fred Welling. Take it down again and we will prosecute for criminal mischief.
This is a legal sign. Stop taking it down! In fact, it could be defamation per se for you to say that its an illegal sign!
It is amazing to see how some are willing to talk so mich about something. This is the political season signs are what makes it happen. Signs are signs that is why they are signs. Does not matter what you see it is that you see it.

It’s never been taken down as far as I know. I even say in the post it might be legal. I drive by it every day and it is always there. You two are a bit odd.
There is a letter by an apparent Condo Owner who said it was illegal after they had apparently torn it down 3 times. You will notice the note on the sign in your picture telling the bandit it is legal. Apparently the bandit is a Parker Supporter taking down LEGALLY placed signs. There actions prove this to be true. The owner of the property is across the street in the two story office building and can watch the sign from his office. He watched it being torn down during the day was kind enough not to call authorities and just leave the BANDIT that note. Also if you drive by it every day you know your statement is false and that you probably are the BANDIT
By the way Neil I can tell you support Annise Parker by your LANGUAGE and your respect for others through the words you choose to use
Have you nothing else to do four days before the election on behalf of your candidate? Maybe some gay-bashing or whatever hate Mr. Locke is stirring up today?
Catching you in your illegal actions isn’t gay bashing. Stop lying. By the way, many of my friends are gay.
I’ve done no wrong and Gene Locke seems to have a problem with gay folks!!!!!
