All People Matter

Outside The Houston Public Library

Here is a picture I took of the plaza in front of the newly renovated Downtown branch of the Houston Public Library.

I took this picture from a third floor window.

The library is a fine example of how government makes a positive difference in people’s lives.

  2. The public library – whether in Utica NY, Providenc RI or Cincinnati OH – has been one of the most important public institutions in my life. So goeth the public library, so goeth civilization as we know it.

  3. i guess palin asked if she could pull books from the library in wasilla and was told no. i read on snopes there was never a list of what she wanted pulled but a dangerous thought none the less. i am glad the person in charge she asked said no, glad to see there is fight left in some people. more people need to get the fight in them. not the kill people or bomb people fight but the fight for self preservation, the fight for what is law and right, a peaceful fight at the polls with voting.
