What Is Wrong With People?
A few days ago I had a some time to myself to eat lunch.
I went outside to what I thought would be a peaceful enough spot.
Not long after I got outside, an SUV drove by and inside it were people shouting the F word out the window.
A few minutes later a woman honked at a pedestrian . The pedestrian spent the next three minutes screaming obscenities.
All I wanted was just some relative peace.
Not total peace. I knew I was out in public and I was not the only person around.
Why does stuff have to be like this? What is wrong with people?

I wish I could have that kind of quiet for just one day a month. Just enough to keep me going for the rest of the time.

People have rage and want to blow shit up. its like when punk exploded in the repressive reagan years. Bush has put the lid on the boiling pot and the country has lost its mind.
Yeah—But I think some of the people I saw would be acting just as dumb if Kerry had been elected.
People have been acting as “dumb” since the beginning of human existence…
well the damage is done that is for sure. laz is right from the beginning of time people have done some crazy things. whenever the economy is down and there is a dictator in office repressing the thoughts and the will of the people there will be desperate acts. they made the bible at some point the ultimate control move on someones behalf. commom manners or the public contract thats a whole different story. whens the last time you stopped to let someone cross a crosswalk or let them into traffic? I see people in northside throw garbage out their windows?? who the fuck throws garbage out the window in this day and age? you see people almost knock other people over going through doors. you hear assholes order coffee and never say please or thank you. basic shit that needs to done. I would rather hear someone yell the f word than throw a k.f.c. bag out of a moving car. People are selfish self destructive animals and the more people there are the more selfish assholes we will run across.
Actually Bill, the Bible explains why we’re in the mess we’re in and why we are quite unable to stop acting “dumb”.
Not to mention the solution, but I don’t think Neil will appreciate the theological discussion, and even if he did I don’t think it’d do much good for the reason that, “people are selfish self destructive animals”.
