I’ll Be The One With A Baseball Cap And A Book At The Obama Rally In Houston Today

I’ll be at the Barack Obama rally that starts in about 90 minutes in Houston.

I’ll be wearing an Astro’s cap and I’ll have a book. I’ll be by myself.

The book is America’s Three Regimes–A New Political History by Morton Keller.

I’m not fully outgoing, but if you tell me you like my blog I’ll find it in me to have a conversation.

I might even give you a hug.

Though what would be better is if you ask me a question about the book I’m reading.

I do well with those type conversations.

  1. Since you are on the ground in TX, I was wondering if you could give me an idea of of who has got the edge in your state? Forget about the polls. Can you see if one side has more energy or is out organizing the other?

  2. Evan–Thanks for the question. It feels to me that the energy is with Obama. Maybe that is just because I was in an arena of Obama supporters, but I do know that Obama set up an office in Cincinnati at least a week before Hillary did. Maybe the young people for Obama create that sense of energy. Or maybe it is all the wins across the nation. But my feeling is that Obama is on the upswing here in Texas.
