Dramatic Picture Shows How Hillary Clinton’s Support Is Eroding Among Democrats

At one point, long-ago in political terms, it appeared Hillary Clinton’s support would take her all the way to the Democratic nomination.
In this illustration, the Democratic nomination is represented by the sea and Mrs. Clinton is represented by the cliffs.
Mrs. Clinton’s support has been eroded by dramatic events and she is now far away from the nomination.

Welcome To Texas Liberal
Texas Liberal is a blog of politics and political history.
My name is Neil Aquino. Here is my profile.
(Above—The Amirta Sher-Gil painting Three Girls. It was painted in 1935.)
Additional focuses of the blog are books, art, poetry, personal relationships and, also, sea life and marine mammals.
The signature post of this blog is the Martin Luther King Reading & Reference List. This list is the best of it’s kind on the web.
I live in Houston, Texas and I do sometimes write about political issues in Houston and in Texas.
I also often write about my former hometown of Cincinnati, and about the great beach city of Galveston, Texas.
I define liberalism as a role for government in the economy to help make life more fair, and a broad acceptance of people regardless of who they are.
This is why it says “All People Matter” at the top of the blog.
A blog grows one reader at a time. If you like what you read here, please consider forwarding the link.
Texas Liberal began regular posting on July 25, 2006.
I also blog at the Houston Chronicle as one of eight featured political bloggers, and on Where’s The Outrage? which posts out of North Carolina.
I can be reached at naa six one eight at att dot net
Thanks for reading Texas Liberal.

she is not my first choice but i still say she ends up with nomination.
Ha Ha Ha.
Looks like a lot of seal poop swirled in there as well. What does that represent (possibly her army of pollsters and consultants)?
What tooks millions of years in the picture has taken a week in the political world.
I’m not counting chickens before they hatch but i like the trend.
Bill—I think the bottom has fallen out under that campaign. But we shall see.
Mr. Diddie—It could all be from Mark Penn.
Citizen X—I think in this case it would not be counting your seagulls before they are hatched.
Thanks for all these comments.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Senator Clinton is the only responsible choice to make. Why would you want to put your children’s future in the hands of a novice? He spouts change. Exactly what has he changed?
I would like to see george bush hand the keys over to hillary and bill it would be sweet. if there is a hell bush will be there for sure.
Ms. Cole—Thank you for your comment and for reading the blog.
Obama validates the life experience of many people who never thought they would see anyone like themselves—in ways that run deeper than color—in the White House.
He has the capacity to grow and maybe tell the truth for once about the problems we have in this country.
I’ll tell you, I had accepted to a degree the fact the Mrs. Clinton would win the nomination before Mr. Obama did well in Iowa. I think I had maybe given up that anything could be better than the half-measures and lies the Clintons have sold us and told us.
It will be good to see Mrs. Clinton or any Democrat win after the last 8 years. But in the case of Mrs. Clinton that’s all I can really say.
They are all full of it. the question is who can swim with the sharks and get the most done for the american people? clinton has sold herself to the right for the last seven years positioning herself to be president. she has laid in their beds and she will want her payment from the right when the time comes. obama and edwards talk a good game but will not be able to get old washington to play ball. when you run your campaign off saying that all the hard working people in washington are tyrants and then you have to go and ask the tyrants to support your bills you are going to be laughed at. the wedge and special interest and earmarks are the problem. get them out and the process will be cleaner and more functional. each rep. has to fight for the area they represent and will do whatever to get money for that area. take the earmarks out, make ethic laws that make it a felony to offer money or accept money from the special interest. I think most of the politicians do care but they have to play by the unwritten rules that are allowed and should not be.
